Feels Like the First Time: Lou Gramm Plays Rockers’ Block

Playing some head games with the former Foreigner frontman

Some music artists have released literally hundreds of songs over the years, to say nothing of the ones deemed too garbage-y to release. BlastEcho wondered if those involved in recording so many songs could remember them all. Enter Rockers’ Block.

For each Rockers’ Block contestant, we play five random songs from their catalog each song from the beginning to see how long it takes for them to guess (well, maybe guess isn’t the right word) the correct song. Then once they do (hopefully), they talk a bit about the song.

Lou Gramm hasn’t been a member of Foreigner for years, but that hasn’t stopped the singer from performing Foreigner classics, most of which he co-wrote. Of course, songs like “Urgent,” “Dirty White Boy” and “Double Vision” were all off limits for this edition of Rockers’ Block, because the goal here is to test the limits of Gramm’s memory, not serve up softballs.

No matter, Gramm knocked (most of these) out of the park. Hear for yourself!

P.S. The full songs are below, if you think you can do better than Gramm did…

I have always thought you were beautifully handsome! Your wife is a blessed lady and more importantly so great to know you are a believer. It shows in your humility.
