How Vivid is Corey Glover’s Memory of Living Colour Songs?

As it turns out, memories can't wait in this episode of Rockers' Block

Some music artists have released literally hundreds of songs over the years, to say nothing of the ones deemed too garbage-y to release. BlastEcho wondered if those involved in recording so many songs could remember them all. Enter Rockers’ Block.

For each Rockers’ Block contestant, we play five random songs from their catalog each song from the beginning to see how long it takes for them to guess (well, maybe guess isn’t the right word) the correct song. Then once they do (hopefully), they talk a bit about the song.

Living Colour were one of the most important rock bands of the 20th century, and their excellent new mixtape, Who Shot Ya–the title track of which is a remix of the Notorious B.I.G. classic–proves they’re pretty relevant in this one, too. They, oh-by-the-way, have a new, full-length release, Shade, set for release early next year.

It’s actually pretty hard to believe the quartet formed 32 years ago, but it sure makes it easier for BlastEcho to trip up singer Corey Glover in a game of Rockers’ Block. In other words, that’s a lot of years and songs for one man to remember (Glover had two solo albums, too). As you’ll soon hear, Glover nailed some and whiffed on a few others.

Let’s rock!
