Humming House’s Ben Jones Rolls the “Dice” on This Instrumental Oddity

You can't help but dance listening to this Beirut tune

Humming House’s Ben Jones tells BlastEcho his favorite song you’ve never heard:

“No Dice” by Beirut

This is a weird record; basically a split album with brass music derived from the American Southwest on the A side and synth pop on the B side. This track is my favorite because it is music in its simplest purpose: a catchy melody on top of a simple dance beat. There are no words, so there’s not really anything to interpret. I just smile and dance.
