I opened for Jarell at Los Globos in Silverlake last year, and his chill RandB vibes were captivating. It was only until recently when I dove into his releases. And this one just sticks with me. It’s an honest lyrical and vocal expression, and sonically, it hits all the right places for me without trying to do too much. In the city of Los Angeles, though, there’s people everywhere, you can often feel pretty alone. And this captures that urge to merge with that one person who you just want to be with.
