Ratt’s Stephen Pearcy Is Ready to Lay It Down for Rockers’ Block

It's a dangerous game, but worth the risk

Some music artists have released literally hundreds of songs over the years, to say nothing of the ones deemed too garbage-y to release. BlastEcho wondered if those involved in recording so many songs could remember them all. Enter Rockers’ Block.

For each Rockers’ Block contestant, we play five random songs from their catalog each song from the beginning to see how long it takes for them to guess (well, maybe guess isn’t the right word) the correct song. Then once they do (hopefully), they talk a bit about the song.

Ratt is back! After a ridiculous version of the band featuring drummer Bobby Blotzer as its sole original member was deemed legally bogus, a truer Ratt has returned, this time with original singer Stephen Pearcy, guitarist Warren DeMartini and bassist Juan Croucier, but without Blotzer (original guitarist Robbin Crosby died in 2002).

Not only is Ratt returning to the road, but Pearcy is already there, touring in support of Smash, his first solo album since 2008’s Under My Skin. See where you can catch him on tour here.

In between dates, BlastEcho was lucky enough to get Pearcy on the phone to play a game a Rockers’ Block; he had no idea the game was coming, but he had his moments, nonetheless.

Hear for yourself!
