Skunk Anansie’s Skin Finds a Genius Way to Take on Rockers’ Block: Cheating

The sexy singer struggles with the game so she wisely fires up Wikipedia to jog her memory

Some music artists have released literally hundreds of songs over the years, to say nothing of the ones deemed too garbage-y to release. BlastEcho wondered if those involved in recording so many songs could remember them all. Enter Rockers’ Block.

For each Rockers’ Block contestant, we play five random songs from their catalog each song from the beginning to see how long it takes for them to guess (well, maybe guess isn’t the right word) the correct song. Then once they do (hopefully), they talk a bit about the song.

Rockers’ Block ain’t easy — that we’ve established. If it was, well, we’d have stopped doing these a long time ago. But, because some artists kill it (e.g., Joe Satriani) and some, well, don’t (Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford), it works. Skin, of the Brit alt-rock outfit Skunk Anansie, tried her hardest to avoid Whitford territory, and she did — albeit she freely admits cheating to do so. We never said you couldn’t, so good for her.

Take a listen!
