The Feelies’ Glenn Mercer tells BlastEcho his favorite song you’ve never heard:
I first heard this song sometime in the ’90s while watching a tribute to Dylan. The concert featured many of my favorite artists like Neil Young, George Harrison and Eric Clapton performing some of my most loved, classic Dylan songs. One of the songs that stood out the most was this song, performed by Ron Wood. I found out that Ron had done a version on his first solo record. I also discovered that Dylan himself hadn’t ever recorded it. Years later, I heard a version that Bob did on his bootleg collection. The Feelies have been covering this recently and we even recorded our version for an EP of cover songs [Uncovered] for record store day.

BlastEcho is the only music website on the planet (warning: hyperbole) that’s all original content. In other words, it’s new, not what you already knew. Here you’ll find the latest on your favorite classic rock, alternative and pop artists, as well as those you may have forgotten (or would rather forget). We’ll post it as fast as our shoestring staff can (is that a tiny violin we hear?)
There will be new music, too, for you to discover and, hopefully, some entertaining, ground-breaking features. Did we miss anything? Oh, yeah, thanks for stopping by. We’re very appreciative!
