We can add another headliner-caliber band to the list of those that won’t be performing at this year’s Lollapalooza in Chicago. The Strokes–one of several artists rumored to be at the four-day fest in Chicago–won’t be among the performers, this according to Strokes management. The Strokes’ only previous Lollapalooza performance was in 2010.
As reported earlier, The Killers–also considered a headliner frontrunner–are “highly unlikely” to play this year’s Lollapalooza, according to a source close to the band.
This year’s Lollapalooza will be the first to stretch over four days (July 28-31) and, as reported earlier, both Radiohead and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be among the headliners. Nothing But Thieves will also perform on July 30.
