Some music artists have released literally hundreds of songs over the years, to say nothing of the ones deemed too garbage-y to release. BlastEcho wondered if those involved in recording so many songs could remember them all. Enter Rockers’ Block.
For each Rockers’ Block contestant, we play five random songs from their catalog each song from the beginning to see how long it takes for them to guess (well, maybe guess isn’t the right word) the correct song. Then once they do (hopefully), they talk a bit about the song.
Twisted Sister is no more. But as we await another inevitable reunion, Dee Snider is carrying the Twisted torch. In October, the 61-year-old singer released his third solo album, We Are the Ones, which includes a radical reworking Twisted’s signature tune “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and a killer cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like a Hole.”
Of course, we eschewed any material from his latest album (which, as you’ll soon hear, annoyed him quite a bit) for this edition of Rockers’ Block, but made sure to include a song from his solo canon as well as stuff from his unheralded side projects Widowmaker and Desperado (“why don’t you come to your senses?” Oops, wrong Desperado). Anyway, Snider performed pretty well but he needed some help. Sometimes, don’t we all?
Let’s play!
P.S. The full songs are below, if you think you can do better than Snider did…

BlastEcho is the only music website on the planet (warning: hyperbole) that’s all original content. In other words, it’s new, not what you already knew. Here you’ll find the latest on your favorite classic rock, alternative and pop artists, as well as those you may have forgotten (or would rather forget). We’ll post it as fast as our shoestring staff can (is that a tiny violin we hear?)
There will be new music, too, for you to discover and, hopefully, some entertaining, ground-breaking features. Did we miss anything? Oh, yeah, thanks for stopping by. We’re very appreciative!
